SACE Exam Crash Course

What it is
The final weeks decide marks. Use them properly.
Most students spend the holidays re-reading notes and redoing questions they can already answer. It feels productive, and it never touches the dot-points that are actually costing them marks.
The Crash Course does the opposite. Each subject is compressed into six two-hour sessions that walk the official SACE subject outline dot-point by dot-point, with an exam-style question worked live for every point. Time is weighted, not spread evenly: the points historically linked to the biggest mark loss get the most attention. Every student receives a TopMark textbook for each subject they enrol in, so the notes, worked examples and practice questions stay with them right through to the exam.
It runs during the Term 3 holidays in small groups, either in person in Adelaide or online, and finishes roughly three weeks before the exams so there is still time to act on what the mock exam reveals.

Methods and Physics run Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Chemistry and Biology run Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Morning and afternoon slots are paired so multi-subject students never have a clash.

Every package is priced per hour of actual teaching. One subject is 12 hours, six two-hour sessions, and the more subjects you take the lower your hourly rate. Each price includes the TopMark textbook, the full mock exam and the marking. Enrolments close on 25 September.

Prices are per student and cover all six sessions for each subject selected, including the TopMark textbook, the mock exam and marking. Each subject is 12 hours of teaching, so the hourly rate is the package total divided by those hours, rounded up to the nearest dollar. An invoice is issued once payment is received. A $99 deposit secures your place, with the balance due before the first session.

Crash Course FAQs
Where is the Crash Course held?
You choose. The Crash Course runs in person in Adelaide, or online if that suits you better, for the same price either way. It runs during the Term 3 school holidays, so there is no clash with school. We confirm the exact venue or your joining details when you book.
Can I do the Crash Course online?
Yes. You pick in person or online on the booking form, and the price is the same either way. Online students join the same sessions live and get the same TopMark textbook, the same mock exam and the same marking. If you are outside Adelaide, or you would simply rather not travel during the holidays, the online option exists for exactly that.
When does it run?
Monday 28 September to Saturday 10 October 2026, inside the Term 3 holiday window. Each subject runs 6 sessions of 2 hours. That finishes roughly three weeks before the SACE external exams, leaving time for independent revision.
Can I do more than one subject?
Yes, and the timetable is built for it. Methods and Physics run Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Chemistry and Biology run Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Morning and afternoon slots are paired so multi-subject students never have a clash.
How big are the groups?
Small groups. If a subject fills, we open a second cohort rather than increase the group size, so every student still gets attention.
What happens in a session?
Ninety minutes walking through the subject outline dot-point by dot-point, with an exam-style question worked live for each one, then a 30 minute timed quiz across everything just covered. Time is weighted towards the dot-points that historically cost students the most marks.
Is there a mock exam?
Yes. The final session in every subject is a full mock exam matching the real paper's length and structure. It is marked and returned within 48 hours with a written mark-loss breakdown for each student.
Is this the same as re-teaching the whole syllabus?
No. The Crash Course is exam-weighted. We cover every dot-point in the outline, but the time is spent where marks are actually lost, and every point is tied to a real exam-style question.
Do I get any materials to keep?
Yes. Every student receives a TopMark textbook for each subject they enrol in, covering the full subject outline with worked examples and practice questions. It is yours to keep and work from right up to the exam.
How much does it cost per hour?
Each subject is 12 hours of teaching, six two-hour sessions. That works out at $34 an hour for one subject, $30 for two, $27 for three and $24 an hour if you take all four. The totals look larger because they cover the whole course, not a single lesson, and every price already includes the TopMark textbook, the full mock exam and the marking.
Can I pay a deposit instead of the full amount?
Yes. A $99 deposit secures your place, with the balance due before the first session. Tick the payment options box on the booking form and we will get in touch to arrange it.
How does the referral program work?
If you refer someone to the Crash Course, you receive $30 and they get 10 per cent off their price. They just need to enter your full name in the "Promo code or referral source" field when they book. How do I pay, and when do I get an invoice?
Payment is by bank transfer using the details on the booking form. Your invoice is sent through once payment is received, and places are confirmed in order of payment.
